Peer Ministry and The Youth & Family Institute offers coaching and support to assist congregations, college campuses, denominational leaders and organizations developing exemplary ministries using Peer Ministry as a foundation for leadership. Coaching and support uses the combined experience of Lyle Griner, the Youth & Family Institute staff and Peer Ministry Associates to begin, guide, energize, support, and revitalize Peer Ministry.

  • Equipping a new staff person
  • Launching a new ministry vision
  • Preparing a relational ministry team that includes youth, parents, congregation members, and community

Consider Short Term Support to:

  • Energize existing or beginning Peer Ministry group
  • Strategize next steps with a planning groups
  • Celebrate the success of a newly trained Peer Ministry team

What is coaching?

Coaching is an interactive process that helps individuals and ministry teams to grow within the youth and family ministry model, produce more satisfying results, faithfully use their God-given gifts, set focused goals, make better decisions, and take more effective action. Coaching includes a one-day on-sight visit plus monthly one-hour contacts via personal or phone conversations depending on locations.
